Location. Dating from the 1930s, Hotel Le Plaza is close to the Rue Neuve shopping district in central Brussels, Belgium. The Art Deco style hotel is within onekilometre of the Grand Place, Chocolate Museum and Manneken Pis. Place Rogier is the nearest metro station to the hotel. Brussels Airport (BRU) is 16 kilometres away. Hotel Features. The Hotel Le Plaza's lobby features carved white marble ceilings, brocaded drapes and chandeliers. Classical music plays softly and there are complimentary newspapers.
An American breakfast is served (surcharge) in the Breakfast Room, decorated in gold and crimson tones with embroidered drapes. A large dome painted to depict a blue sky is the centrepiece of L'Esterel Restaurant, which has marble panels, arched windows and elaborate stuccowork. The high ceilinged restaurant serves continental cuisine and fine wines. The hotel bar has an extensive cocktail menu.
The hotel has a business centre and meeting rooms for up to 800 people. Dial up Internet access is available in public areas (surcharge).
Guests can work out in the fitness centre or practise their swing on the rooftop golf simulator.
Guestrooms. The Hotel Le Plaza's 193 guestrooms are decorated in soft cream hues and have thick crimson bedspreads, period furnishings and framed artworks. Expert Tip. Set in a listed Brussels building, the hotel's adjoining theatre currently hosts conferences and banquets. Guests can visit the Renaissance style theatre when it is not being used.

From Brussels Airport (BRU): Distance to Hotel Le Plaza is 16 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The airport's railway station is located below the terminal building on the basement level, and is accessible by elevator. Airport City Express trains leave every 10 30 minutes between 5 a.m. and midnight, and travel to the city's three main stations. Single fares cost 2.60 EUR. Metered taxis can be found in front of the Arrivals hall; licensed cabs have a blue and yellow emblem. The journey to the centre of Brussels takes about 20 minutes and costs 30 EUR 40 EUR. De Lijn buses run to the city every 45 minutes. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Hotel Le Plaza is situated 500 metres from the Grand Place. The nearest metro station is Place Rogier. Brussels and the surrounding suburbs are served by an integrated bus, metro, and tram network, which offers a cheap and efficient way to explore the city. Tickets should be validated prior to boarding. Over 600 taxi ranks are located around the city.
